Deen Squad was a Canadian rap group formed by Karter Zaher and Jae Deen in 2015. Both members were students at Carleton University in Ottawa and shared a passion for music and their Islamic faith. Together, they specialized in creating "halal remixes", which involved transforming popular songs into versions that adhered to Islamic principles.

The duo quickly gained popularity, amassing tens of millions of views on YouTube and garnering a large following of fans who appreciated their unique blend of music and faith. However, their music also drew criticism from some who questioned the permissibility of their content within the Islamic community.

Despite the challenges and controversies they faced, Deen Squad continued to produce music that resonated with their audience. Unfortunately, in May 2019, the group announced their split due to a conflict between Karter Zaher and their manager, Sami Abboud. As a result, many of their videos were made private and are no longer accessible on YouTube.
