Mongooses unroll these corridors
Mongooses patrol these grounds
Mongooses control these sacred halls
Unsight, unspoke, unsound
The serpent's curious tree
Whacked by the mongeese of our tradition
This imposture of hysterical facts
Forever stalking our current position
Tears fall from the whitened faces
Of the legion of counting machines
So eager to carve their places
At the cliff's edge of this completion scene
