Tessa Violet Williams, more commonly known as Tessa Violet, is an American video blogger and singer-songwriter born on March 20, 1990. She first gained popularity in 2008 when she started uploading story times, music videos, and skits on her YouTube channel.

In 2010, Tessa's "Wizard Love – Harry Potter Music Video – Meekakitty Featuring heyhihello" went viral, propelling her to a much larger following. Later that year, she won YouTube's $100,000 most commented video competition. In 2011, Tessa was featured in Shawna Howson's viral video on YouTube titled "Sail".

In 2014, Tessa released her album Maybe Trapped Mostly Troubled, which showcased her songwriting abilities. The album was entirely written by Tessa herself. Two years later, in 2016, she released Halloway, an EP featuring five songs.

Tessa Violet's talents extend beyond music, as she also delved into acting. In 2016, she played the role of Tricia in the movie The Matchbreaker, alongside Christina Grimmie and Wesley Elder.
