Rachael Yamagata - Line

0
Copied!

{Verse 1}
If the moon is making everything go backwards
Does it mean you'll soon be here
If the best years of your life come when you're young
Will my troubles disappear

{Pre-Chorus}
If we're meant to be we'll find each other
Back, you see, with one another
You, said to me, before you walked away

{Chorus}
But you're not coming back
It's all been just a line
I know this cause I find myself saying it this time

{Verse 2}
If you draw what you put out into the world
And might've lived with silly girls
Who look for reasons in all they see
If what shan't kill us will make us stronger
Why's the past keep getting longer
Why is it still here if it is history

{Pre-Chorus}
If we're right, time holds no power
Do not fear the lonely hour
You had said to me, before you walked away

{Chorus}
But you're not coming back
It's all been just a line
I know this cause I find myself saying it this time

{Bridge}
Bleeding hearts don't rest their soul
And saddened will they die alone
The poet and the muse don't stand a chance
Fate won't be kind, and nothing's real
We met, we loved, it's no big deal
Stop trying to define significance

{Pre-Chorus}
You said to me

{Chorus (x2)}
But you're not coming back
It's all been just a line
I know this cause I find myself saying it this time

But you're not coming back
It's all been just a line
I know this cause I find myself saying it this time
