Omnium Gatherum is a melodic death metal band hailing from Karhula, Finland. Formed in 1996, the band quickly gained attention with their acclaimed demos, which eventually led them to be signed with Rage of Achilles, a UK label. In 2004, they made the move to Nuclear Blast Records, further solidifying their place in the metal scene.

The band's unique name, derived from a Latin phrase meaning "a grouping of all things", reflects their diverse musical influences and lyrical themes. Omnium Gatherum's music is characterized by intricate melodies, powerful riffs, and intense vocals, creating a sound that is both aggressive and melodic.

Over the years, Omnium Gatherum has released several albums, each showcasing their evolution as musicians and songwriters. In 2014, they signed with Candlelight Records before ultimately finding a home with Lifeforce Records.
