Emma Louise Blackery is a talented British singer-songwriter and YouTube star hailing from Basildon, Essex. She first gained widespread recognition on YouTube in 2012 after posting videos of herself reading excerpts from Fifty Shades of Grey, although these videos were later removed due to copyright issues.

Blackery's music career took off with the release of multiple EPs while her YouTube channel continued to grow. Her debut EP, Human Behaviour, was released in 2012, followed by the Distance EP in 2013, which included the singles "Go The Distance" and "The Promise". In 2014, she released the Perfect EP, featuring the single of the same name.

In 2016, Blackery returned with a more punk-pop/punk rock sound on the three-track EP, Sucks to Be You, which was well-received by fans. That same year, she had the opportunity to tour with her childhood idols, Busted, on their "Pigs Can Fly" tour.
