Daft Punk, consisting of the duo Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, rose to fame as one of the biggest electronic music acts of the late 1990s and 2000s. Their modern disco sound, a fusion of house, funk, electro, and techno, captivated audiences worldwide.
