Riot V (or Riot) is an American heavy metal band from New York City founded in 1975. The band encountered numerous lineup changes, with the only original member remaining being guitarist Mark Reale until his death in 2012. After shortly disbanding for 2 years, Thundersteel era bassist and guitarist Don Van Stavern and Mike Flyntz recruited singer Todd Michael Hall, guitarist Nick Lee and Frank Gilchriest and reformed the band as Riot V to continue Reale’s legacy.
