Biography
Rubblebucket is a music duo formed by Kalmia Traver and Alex Toth, who have been making music together since their time at the University of Vermont where they graduated in 2006. The two musicians set out on tour after graduation and eventually met percussionist Craig Myers, who added a new dimension of arrangements and improvisations to the band's sound.
In 2008, Rubblebucket released their debut album, Rose's Dream, which marked the beginning of their musical journey. The band quickly gained a following and started performing at festivals and events, leading to the release of several more albums and EPs. Their music has been featured in movie soundtracks and Nintendo ad campaigns, further expanding their reach and popularity.
Rubblebucket's discography includes albums such as Rubblebucket (2009), Omega La La (2011), Survival Sounds (2014), and Sun Machine (2018), as well as EPs like Triangular Daisies (2010), Oversaturated (2012), and If U C My Enemies (2017). The band continues to push boundaries and experiment with new formats, captivating audiences with their eclectic sound and energetic performances at venues across the nation.
